In an appeal from a judgment of the district court granting defendant summary judgment on plaintiff's constitutional and tort claims for police brutality, judgment is affirmed with respect to the false imprisonment claim, but reversed with respect to plaintiff's claims for use of excessive force and negligence, where the use of intermediate force is unreasonable when an officer has detained a suspect for minor infractions and the suspect clearly poses no threat to the officer or the public safety.
