United States Ninth Circuit

Gomez-Granillo v. Holder, 06-70635

In a petition for review of an order of the BIA dismissing an appeal of a removal order on the ground that substantial evidence supported a finding that an immigration officer had the necessary reason to believe that petitioner, a native and citizen of Mexico, was knowingly involved in drug trafficking, petition is granted where the immigration judge misunderstood the relevant legal standard.
