United States Ninth Circuit
Ngo v. Giurbino, 08-55564
In a petition for habeas relief from petitioner's convictions for first degree murder, conspiracy to commit, and attempted premeditated murder, judgment of the district court denying petition is affirmed because state court's rulings that defendant's convictions were supported by sufficient evidence and that the prosecution's use of peremptory challenges to strike African American jurors did not violate petitioner's Equal Protection rights are reasonable.
