US v. Scott, 07-50020

Conviction and sentencing of defendant on one count of RICO conspiracy, 18 U.S.C. section 1962(d), are affirmed where the district court did not abuse its discretion in: 1) limiting voir dire and cross-examination; prohibiting jurors from taking notes; 2) refusing proposed defense instructions; and 3) failing to make a preliminary determination on the admissibility of co-conspirator statements.
