United States Ninth Circuit

Harris v. Maricopa Cty. Super. Ct., 09-15833

In an action against a state court and others for violations of, inter alia, plaintiff's rights under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the district court's award of fees and costs to defendants is vacated where the district court both used an impermissible method of determining the amount of fees and costs to be assessed for the claims for which fees were appropriate, and erred in some of its determinations as to which claims were properly subject to a fee award to defendants.
