Marcus v. Holder, 08-15643
In an action seeking a declaration that the Attorney General's investigation of plaintiff regarding alleged campaign finance violations was politically motivated and therefore unlawful, dismissal of the complaint is affirmed where the Attorney General need not obtain the permission of the Federal Elections Commission before investigating or prosecuting possible violations of federal election laws.
