In a 42 U.S.C. section 1983 action for impeding a prisoner's exercise of religion, the dismissal of the complaint is reversed where the mailbox rule of Houston v. Lack, 487 U.S. 266 (1988), applies to a pro se prisoner's Section 1983 complaint.
