United States Ninth Circuit

US v. Osazuwa, 08-50244

Defendant's conviction for assaulting a prison guard is reversed, where the District Court erred in admitting evidence of Defendant's unrelated bank fraud conviction, where the evidence was not admissible under Fed. R. Evid. 608, because that rule does not permit the admission of the underlying facts of a prior conviction.
