Pintos v. Pac. Creditors Assoc., 04-17485

In an action under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) for improperly obtaining a credit report regarding Plaintiff, summary judgment for Defendant is reversed where: 1) the matter involved neither a transaction where Plaintiff sought credit nor the collection of a judgment debt; and thus 2) the FCRA did not authorize Defendant to obtain the report.
