United States Ninth Circuit

Sam v. Astrue, 08-35108

A denial of claimant's application for disability insurance benefits under Title II of the Social Security Act is affirmed where, contrary to claimant's assertion, Social Security Ruling 83-20 (1983) does not require a medical expert where the ALJ explicitly finds that the claimant has never been disabled.
