Slovik v. Yates, 06-55867

Denial of habeas corpus relief is reversed and remanded where: 1) the trial court denied petitioner's Sixth Amendment confrontation rights when during cross examination of a witness for the prosecution, it refused to allow evidence as to whether that witness lied under oath about being on probation and; 2) this error was not harmless.
