Metzler Inv. GMBH v. Corinthian Colleges, Inc., 06-55826

In a putative federal securities fraud class action against an operator of private for-profit vocational colleges and officers pursuant to sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934 and SEC Rule 10b-5, dismissal of the complaint with prejudice is affirmed where the complaint's allegations failed to meet the PSLRA's exacting requirements and the standards for pleading loss causation.
