Brown & Bain, P.A. v. O'Quinn, 06-15931

In a suit brought by a Phoenix law firm, against a Houston law firm for fees owed to it on the termination of a lawsuit, a judgment for plaintiff is affirmed over claims of error regarding: 1) whether the term "recovery" in an engagement letter is so clear that its meaning could be determined as a matter of law; and 2) whether plaintiff had abandoned the contract and thus was not entitled to further compensation.
