United States Ninth Circuit

Bias v. Moynihan, 05-16752

In a civil rights suit alleging that defendants detained plaintiff for psychiatric evaluation without probable cause in violation of her federal and state law rights, summary judgment for defendants is affirmed where probable cause existed to justify detaining plaintiff on two occasions, and the district court's evidentiary and procedural rulings did not compel a reversal of the judgment.
