United States Ninth Circuit
Bader v. N. Line Layers, Inc., 05-36012
In a suit under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act alleging a failure to provide notice in the event of a plant closing or mass layoff at a single site of employment, summary judgment for defendant is affirmed where construction workers' "site of employment" is the actual work site rather than the company headquarters under the Act's implementing regulations, thus plaintiffs did not demonstrate that 50 or more laid-off employees worked at a single site of employment.
