US v. Aukai, 04-10226
In the context of airport screening searches, once a passenger enters the secured area of an airport, the constitutionality of a screening search does not depend on consent. To the extent any cases have have predicated the reasonableness of an airport screening search upon either ongoing consent or irrevocable implied consent, they are overruled.
