United States Ninth Circuit
Whitaker v. Garcetti, 05-55629, 05-55690
In a civil rights suit brought against individuals and entities associated with the city and county of L.A. alleging they intercepted plaintiffs' telephone calls after obtaining wiretap authorizations by using falsified warrant applications, summary judgment rulings for plaintiffs granting declaratory relief and for defendants on the remaining claims are reversed in part, as only one plaintiff's claim involving a falsified warrant application could proceed against defendants.
