Employee Painters' Trust v. Ethan Enters., Inc., 05-35270

In a suit for delinquent contributions brought by trusts that administer employee benefit plans, denial of relief from default judgments against certain defendants is affirmed where: 1) defendant-company violated a local rule requiring it to be represented by counsel, and it was proper to enter judgment against it; and 2) individually-named defendants failed to answer an amended complaint properly served pursuant to Rule 5 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
