United States Ninth Circuit

US v. Arnt, 05-50124, 05-50292

Defendant's conviction and sentence for voluntary manslaughter for fatally stabbing her husband during a domestic dispute while accompanying U.S. Armed Forces in Turkey is reversed where the district court committed reversible error in refusing to give an involuntary manslaughter instruction, as there was sufficient evidence at trial to support an involuntary manslaughter instruction.
