United States Ninth Circuit

A judgment revoking defendant's probation on an assault charge, sentencing him to four months' imprisonment, and granting him credit for time served between his arrest for violating alcohol-related conditions of his probation and his sentencing is affirmed with modification where the district court's grant of credit for the time defendant had served in custody pursuant to his arrest exceeded its authority.
