In a civil rights dispute arising out of a sex discrimination claim by plaintiff against a police department and several individuals, an attorney-s fees award for plaintiff is affirmed over plaintiff's claims of error where the district court did not abuse its discretion in striking some claimed hours as not reasonably spent on the case, and sufficiently explained a determination of the hourly rate it used in the lodestar calculation, since there was only evidence presented by the defense regarding the applicable "prevailing market rate.-
