United States Ninth Circuit

Boyd v. Newland, 03-17098

Denial of petitioner's habeas petition in a firearms-offense case is reversed in part where, in light of petitioner's plausible Batson claim, state appellate courts' denial of petitioner's request for a complete voir dire transcript and a full comparative analysis of the venire unreasonably applied clearly established federal law.
