Conrad v. US, 04-15402
In a Federal Tort Claims action involving an unsuccessful prosecution of a police officer on illegal gambling charges, summary judgment and judgment on the merits in favor of defendant-government on false arrest, false imprisonment, abuse of process, and malicious prosecution is affirmed over claims of error as to: 1) summary judgment on a false imprisonment claim; 2) findings of fact regarding the malicious prosecution claim; and 3) dismissal of the malicious prosecution claim.
