United States Ninth Circuit

US v. TERRY-CRESPO, 03-30085

The district court properly denied defendant's motion to suppress; the victim's 911 call bore sufficient indicia of reliability to justify the police's investigatory stop. His prior offense of firing a gun at a (perhaps uninhabited) building was proper grounds for the "crime of violence" enhancement.
