United States Ninth Circuit

SERGEANT v. INLANDBOATMEN'S UNION OF THE PAC., 02-15957

In a case alleging that a collective bargaining agreement violated Section 101(a)(1) of the Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act, 29 U.S.C. section 411(a)(1), judgment to defendant is affirmed where the union's determination that the job interests of voluntary casuals are insufficient to warrant their being afforded a vote on the CBA is not unreasonable.
