United States Ninth Circuit

US v. IBARRA, 02-30389

A seizure and search of an automobile did not violate the Fourth Amendment, as facts known to police officers coupled with a narcotics dog's specific alert indicating the odor of narcotics emanating from the vehicle would lead a reasonable officer to believe that narcotics would be found inside the vehicle.
