United States Ninth Circuit

NORDYKE v. KING, 99-17551

A local ordinance prohibiting the possession of firearms on county property did not infringe First Amendment rights, as possession of a gun is not associated with expression. Individuals lack standing to raise a Second Amendment challenge to a law regulating firearms.
