FLATOW v. THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN, 00-56446

Because there is neither day-to-day control nor a principal-agent relationship between Iran and and Iranian bank, with offices and property in the US, plantiff may not levy against real estate owned by the bank pursuant to a default judgment entered against the Republic of Iran.
