RAMSEY v. US, 01-35014

An Indian tribe member's prior federal suit, analyzing a state's heavy vehicle tax and the 1855 Yakama Treaty, is not binding in a suit dealing with a similar federal tax. No express language in the treaty exempts a tribe member from heavy vehicle and diesel fuel taxes.
