US v. SHELL OIL CO., 00-55027, 00-55077

In an action to determine allocation of cleanup costs of a Superfund site, CERCLA section 9620(a)(1) waives the sovereign immunity of the U.S.; the U.S. is not liable for non-benzol waste cleanup, but 100% of the cleanup costs for benzol waste should be allocated to the U.S.
