Statements by an illegal alien, pertaining to birth and citizenship, made 1) to an INS agent while the alien was incarcerated on charges unrelated to immigration status, and 2) to a police officer after deportation and re-entry (again on charges unrelated to immigrant status), were properly admitted in a conviction for being found in the U.S. after deportation.
