AYUYU v. TAGABUEL, 01-15119

Where the jury believed evidence that defendant officer had used improper means in obtaining the confession of the mentally challenged plaintiff, and that the plaintiff had been denied advice that he could have a lawyer if requested, the judgment granting plaintiff punitive damages in his action under 42 U.S.C. section 1983 was affirmed.
