BLAIR v. CRAWFORD, 99-17665
Under 28 USC 2244(d)(2), filing of an extraordinary writ with the Nevada Supreme Court will toll the statute of limitations under the AEDPA as a "properly filed" state petition, even though Nevada law requires filing of post conviction relief in state district court.
