LYON v. AGUSTA S.P.A., 99-55986

General Aviation Revitalization Act of 1994, 49 USC 40101, which limits lawsuits against airplane manufacturers to 18 years after initial delivery of the plane, applies to suits filed after its effective date even if the accident occurred before its effective date.
