Alanwoko v. Mukasey, 07-2769, 07-3281

Petitions for review of decisions denying of asylum and related relief, as well as a motion to reopen, for Nigerian native are denied where: 1) petitioner did not satisfy his burden on an asylum claim; 2) as petitioner was not asserting that torture would occur for a reason other than his religion, the IJ did not err by denying withholding of removal or CAT relief; and 3) there was no abuse of discretion in denying the motion to reopen based on newly discovered evidence.
