United States Eighth Circuit

Clevenger v. Social Security Admin., 07-3447

District court judgment upholding the decision of the Commissioner of Social Security to deny plaintiff's application for disability benefits is affirmed where: 1) substantial evidence supported the ALJ's decision not to give controlling weight to the treating physician's opinion as the opinion was inconsistent with substantial evidence in the record as a whole; and 2) the ALJ did not err in finding subjective complaints of pain were not fully credible.
