United States Eighth Circuit

US v. Thomas, 08-3118

Conviction and sentence for firearms possession is affirmed where: 1) the district court properly denied defendant's motion for acquittal as the evidence was sufficient to support his conviction for being a felon in possession of a firearm; and 2) the court did not err in applying an enhancement under U.S.S.G. sec. 2K2.1(b)(6) for possessing the firearm in connection with another felony.
