In an intentional infliction of emotional distress action, district court's judgement is affirmed where: 1) the court did not abuse its discretion in reconsidering and reversing its previous joinder decision as it had the discretionary authority to do so upon discovering that the joinder of new defendants would defeat diversity jurisdiction; 2) the court did not abuse its discretion in denying the motion to amend as the absence of the additional defendants did not impair the court's ability to grant complete relief; 3) the court properly held that the new defendants were not indispensable parties under Fed. R. Civ. P. 19(b) and did not err in denying plaintiff's motion to remand; and 4) the court properly granted defendant's motion for summary judgment.
