United States Eighth Circuit

US v. Easley, 08-1873

Sentence is affirmed where District Court correctly applied statutory enhancement of defendant's sentence as a felon in possession of ammunition under U.S.S.G. section 2K2.1(b)(6). The sentencing guideline does not require a defendant to be a felon at the time of his possession of a firearm in connection with another felony offense in order for the statutory enhancement to apply.
