United States Eighth Circuit

US v. Shy, 06-4011

Defendants' sentences for possession of pseudoephedrine with the knowledge it would be used to manufacture methamphetamine are affirmed in part and vacated in part where: 1) due to a procedural error in failing to discuss one defendant's she possession of methamphetamine at the time of her arrest, it was not possible to conduct a meaningful review of the reasonableness of the sentence; but 2) other defendant's sentence was adequately explained and reasonable.
