United States Eighth Circuit

US v. Medina-Valencia, 07-3642

A sentence for illegal re-entry into the U.S. after previously being deported is affirmed where, given the at least eight year age-difference between defendant and his victim, the district court did not err in finding that his prior conviction was for sexual abuse of a minor, and therefore a crime of violence.
