Johnson v. US, 07-3347

In an action under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) against the U.S. alleging a Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) correctional officer and a tribal police officer committed various torts while arresting him, dismissal of the tort claims arising from the conduct of the BIA officer is affirmed where defendant was acting outside of the scope of his employment as a BIA correctional officer at the time of the incident.
