United States Eighth Circuit

In a prosecution for unlawful possession of a firearm as a previously convicted felon, denial of defendant's motion to suppress evidence of firearm seized after his arrest is affirmed where: 1) certain circumstantial evidence was sufficient to lead a reasonably prudent person to believe that defendant had been driving a stolen vehicle; and 2) thus a police officer had probable cause to arrest defendant. The sentence is affirmed where the district court did not err in finding that defendant was an armed career criminal subject to sentencing enhancement.
