United States Eighth Circuit
Osonowo v. Mukasey, 07-1014
Petition for review of an order denying petitioner's application for asylum and related relief is denied where: 1) the IJ offered an adequate explanation for a credibility assessment and the record supported an adverse credibility determination; 2) the IJ did not err in determining that petitioner did not meet the well-founded fear of persecution standard for asylum; and 3) petitioner did not meet the burden of demonstrating that he would suffer torture in his home country for any reasons other than those advanced in his discredited asylum and withholding claims.
