United States Eighth Circuit

US v. Todd, 07-1592

Conviction and sentence for possessing a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking offense is affirmed over defendant's claims that: 1) the indictment failed to state a federal offense and this defect was not waived by a later guilty plea; 2) the district court violated Fed. Crim. Pro. Rule 11 by failing to inform him of the maximum penalties for his charged offenses; and 3) the district court abused its discretion at sentencing by giving inadequate consideration to statutory sentencing factors.
