United States Eighth Circuit
Hamilton v. Standard Ins. Co., 07-1168
In a case arising after defendant reduced the amount of death benefits paid to plaintiff under a group insurance policy providing coverage for her deceased husband, summary judgment for defendant is affirmed where the district court did not err in concluding a Missouri statute barring suicide defenses did not apply because the policy was issued to a non-Missouri citizen in Idaho.
