United States Eighth Circuit
Echols v. Kemna, 06-3378
A decision refusing to hear a petition for habeas relief in a murder case is affirmed where Missouri's escape rule is firmly established, regularly followed and readily ascertainable when applied, and consequently the rule is an adequate and independent state ground barring federal review of the habeas claim.
