United States Eighth Circuit

Yang v. Mukasey, 06-3010

Petition for review of a denial of Laotian citizen's motion to reopen removal proceedings, in relation to his application for asylum and related relief, is dismissed in part and denied in part where: 1) to the extent petitioner challenged a denial of his first motion to reopen, the circuit court lacked jurisdiction over that issue; and 2) there was no abuse of discretion with regard to denial of a motion to reconsider.
