United States Eighth Circuit

US v. Turner, 06-3749

A conviction and sentence for attempting to manufacture methamphetamine and perjury is affirmed over claims that: 1) the district court should have granted his motion to sever the manufacturing and perjury counts; 2) the jury lacked sufficient evidence to convict him of perjury; and 3) the district court erred by holding that his methamphetamine manufacturing had posed a substantial risk of harm to human life, for purposes of increasing his offense level.
