United States Eighth Circuit
US v. Santisteban, 06-3409
Defendant's conviction for conspiracy to defraud the United States, involving an international conspiracy to manufacture and distribute counterfeit prescription drugs, is affirmed over claims that: 1) the government violated his due process rights by failing to disclose certain impeachment evidence; 2) the district court should have allowed him to present a prosecution memorandum as evidence that another individual had forged a letter; 3) his confrontation right was violated; and 4) the district court erred in failing to instruct the jury as to any lesser-included offenses.
